Allison Barkel

Allison Barkel came to Indiana for graduate school at Indiana University, and is now proud to call Indianapolis home. In her role as an Associate Consultant for Summit Managed Solutions, she collaborates with partners within the healthcare system to solve complex problems and create value-aligned programs. Allison is deeply passionate about serving her community with a particular focus on equity, environmentalism and the arts. This includes volunteering for the Hoosier Environmental Council, Keeping Indianapolis Beautiful, Slow Food Indy, and the Indiana Repertory Theater. She’s also exploring Indy’s growing food scene as a Yelp Elite, and is committed to supporting local businesses. Outside of work and volunteering, Allison loves to be outdoors – hiking, kayaking, traveling. She is an avid podcast listener, book reader, baker, cook, and animal lover. Allison is excited to be Indy Maven Operations Board member and continue to create connections with the amazing Indy Maven community.
