What is Maven Space?

Maven Space is a femme-powered coworking space, event venue, and social club. Our mission is to provide a safe and welcoming space for bold women (and men who support women!) to thrive personally and professionally.

Is this the same thing as Indy Maven?

We’re sisters! Maven Space was founded by Indy Maven CEO Leslie Bailey so that Mavens in the Indianapolis area community had a safe, warm, and welcoming place to gather. While an Indy Maven membership does not include access to the space, many Mavens are members of both communities and enjoy shared perks between them.

Where is Maven Space located?

Maven Space is located at 433 N. Capitol Ave., Ste. 100 in the Gibson Building in downtown Indianapolis. Guests and tours by appointment only.

Are men allowed in Maven Space?

While Maven Space was created with women in mind, ALL are welcome. Maven Space will strictly enforce all members and guests be mindful and respectful of the safe space we have created.

Are there private offices/personal desks available?

Maven Space is community-focused so we offer an open, shared workspace. There are no private offices or personal desks for individuals to rent, but there are rooms and plenty of spaces to take private calls and meetings.

Are there lockers where I can keep my items?

We have cabinets and a select number of lockers available for members can leave belongings throughout the day. Members will be responsible for their own belongings but we will strive to ensure that we maintain a responsible and ethical culture. Stealing of any kind will not be tolerated.

Is childcare available?

Childcare is not available at this time but we’re exploring opportunities to add it in the future.

How much is a membership?

The starting price for a membership is $45/month.The “Keep in Touch” section at the bottom of the website currently has Jason and Karen’s emails. For “Membership Inquiries” the email should now be hello@mavenspace.co. For “Event Inquiries” the email should now be lilly@mavenspace.co.

What are your hours of operation?

Maven Works and Maven Teams members have keyless entry to the space Sunday-Monday from 6am to 11pm. Any other member can only be in the space from 9am-5pm Monday-Friday and will not have access to keyless entry.

Events and programming will take place at scheduled times during the day and on select weekdays evenings between 6 pm to 9 pm.

*We will be closed from time to time for national holidays, seasonal celebrations, and special events. We will ensure that we give members as much notice as possible.

Is there parking available?

Monthly permits for premiere downtown parking are available to members for $85/month. Members can reserve directly with Denison Parking by completing and emailing the following Credit Card Authorization and Contract to bperttu@denisonparking.com and copying tori@mavenspace.co.
